Website & Service Terms

This page summarizes important customer-facing terms. The signed Client Services Agreement controls the actual coaching relationship and should be reviewed by a Florida attorney.

Service

College Checkmate LLC provides independent educational coaching, planning, accountability, and student-support services. We are not a college, university, school, admissions office, law firm, financial adviser, tax preparer, or government agency.

No guaranteed outcomes

Admissions, scholarship, financial-aid, enrollment, and other decisions are made by third parties. College Checkmate does not guarantee acceptance, admission, awards, aid amounts, enrollment, grades, or any other outcome.

Student work

We may provide brainstorming, coaching, editing, and feedback on applications and essays. We do not write essays, applications, assignments, or other materials for substantially unaltered submission as the student's own work.

Membership and billing

The standard College Checkmate membership is offered at $210 per month unless another price is agreed in writing. Membership charges recur monthly until canceled in accordance with the Client Services Agreement and Cancellation Policy. Payment processing may be handled by Stripe or another third-party provider.

Availability and support

The membership includes two scheduled 30-minute strategy sessions per month and reasonable between-session support for quick questions and next-move guidance. It does not include unlimited on-demand meetings, emergency support, unlimited document revisions, or 24/7 access.

Customer responsibilities

Students and families are responsible for providing accurate information, reviewing official school and government instructions, submitting materials on time, attending appointments, and making final decisions. College Checkmate may remind and guide, but the customer remains responsible for completing required actions.

Official sources

When an official school, government agency, scholarship provider, testing organization, or other authoritative source conflicts with general guidance, the official source controls.

Intellectual property

College Checkmate branding, original materials, roadmaps, templates, and website content are owned by College Checkmate LLC or used with permission. Customers may use materials provided to them for their own personal educational planning but may not resell or redistribute them commercially.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, College Checkmate is not responsible for losses caused by third-party decisions, changing requirements, outages, customer delay, inaccurate customer information, or failure to follow official instructions. Additional limitations may appear in the signed Client Services Agreement.
